Blind are my eyes,
Slippery is the way.
No one hears my cries,
Be it night or day.
Nobody guides you here,
They push you on quick sand,
Yet I have no fear,
Cause you are there to hold my hand.
My nose cannot sense,
The scent of senseless danger.
Yet I can tell your presence,
You that lay in the holy manger.
Weak is my thought,
Yet I think of you,
There’s nothing I ain’t got.
Because you’re the one I woo.
But tell me great Almighty,
Why life is so unfair,
Why living is so cruelly flighty,
Why it doesn’t seem to care.
Tell me you faith holder,
Why faith has lost its mean,
Why faith is turning colder,
And can hardly now be seen.
Why hate is ruling higher,
Why lies win the gold.
Why truth has no buyer,
No ear to hear if told.
Where is our moral teaching?
Where have our values gone?
Where went the vital preaching,
Will those ever be reborn?
I was always taught one lesson,
To do right everywhere.
Cause after death in person,
I’ll be answerable to you there.
So one must not do wrong,
Cause you always keep a look.
And you count our sins along,
And store them in a book.
I know once one dies,
A balance is put to test.
Truth is weighed against your lies,
Bad is compared to your best.
And then when the balance sways,
It would finally tell.
Which platter heavily weighs,
You get heaven or you get hell.
So once again when you do wrong,
Just think of it twice.
Lie never can live long,
Though truth will always survive.
Greed has no base,
Self should come last.
For god there is no race,
No colour, no creed, no cast.
Forgive me oh all mighty,
Show mercy on my sin.
I may never be flighty,
As you bless my every win.
Never may I compare,
As they too are your son.
And I know it is not fair,
As for you we all are one.
And when my soul may reach your door,
You welcome me with a smile.
And with your hand you assure,
Saying I’ve been your True Child!
